) Poche ore dopo, all'alba, secondo le direttive del piano Winter Contingency, L'UNSC sferra una grande controffensiva ai Covenant presenti nel territorio di Viery, nella stessa zona in cui poche ore prima hanno agito Six e Jun. Kat e Six cominciano la loro battaglia a bordo di un Warthog appartenente a un gruppo numeroso di veicoli UNSC tra cui carri Scorpion, velivoli Falcon e Pelican e altri Warthog e Mongoose. I due Spartan superano a stento un ponte distrutto dai Covenant con un rocambolesco salto del loro veicolo. Qui i due si ritrovano appiedati e procedono alla liberazione di una zona d'atterraggio per un Pelican da cui ricevono un nuovo Warthog armato di lanciarazzi e anche l'ordine di distruggere due batterie antiaeree Covenant per permettere alle fregate UNSC di raggiungere la zona dei combattimenti per fornire un massiccio supporto aereo ai mezzi e ai soldati impiegati a terra. I due Spartan riescono nella operazione e successivamente raggiungono un centro dismesso di estrazione mineraria occupata dai Covenant e utilizzata da loro come base d'appoggio. Qui Kat e Six uccidono uno Zealot Elite e ripuliscono la zona, poi proseguono verso un'altra mesa per distruggere un'altra batteria antiaerea nemica. Qui Six sale come armiere laterale su un Falcon insieme a Jorge e si dirige verso una delle principali torri di occultamento presente sul vastissimo teatro degli scontri tra Covenant e UNSC. Tuttavia quando sono ormai prossimi all'obiettivo, il Falcon entra all'interno del campo energetico circostante la torre e va in avaria a causa di una scarica EMP precipitando al suolo. Six e Jorge escono indenni dall'impatto e proseguono ugualmente risalendo a piedi fino alla base della grande torre nemica, aprendosi strada tra i numerosi nemici. Qui Six raggiunge la cima della torre tramite un Banshee sottratto al nemico o per mezzo di uno degli ascensori gravitazionali interni alla torre. Raggiunta la cima, Six disattiva lo scudo della torre e di corsa raggiunge il Falcon venuto a prelevarlo. Al termine della missione, il Noble Team riunito fugge dalla torre che sta per essere distrutta da un colpo ad accelerazione magnetica MAC della fregata UNSC
