as I have already explained to you in our latest discussion, the AvioBar is the place to discuss about aviation pages here in it-wp. I also had suggested you to ask here first, before adding so many graphs to ur airport pages but it seems you decided to go straight on. I do not see any good reason to add such a heavy and unesful graph to airport pages. But, please wait to collect some kind of consensus before adding your graphs to more airports. and 'Check Usage' of each image, you will see that they have been prolifically adding their images across many language wikis. It is all really just self promotion and not useful - on the English Wikipedia this sort of activity is considered spam. I started removing some contributions from some languages other than English, but it is too big a job. --

Well in general 'spam' is adding links or content to Wikipedia which is only really there to promote a person or their web site. I'm not sure how many language Wikis have a spam policy yet, but the English one is at

. Ordinarily it just involves a user adding a series of External Links, often with the intention of raising their profile on search engines, such as Google. It is unusual to involve images. In fact this is the first case of spamming across multiple languages that I have seen.

It is perfectly alright for users to add illustrations that they have drawn and also to include a source link back to their web site on the image description page. In fact this is encouraged. But the image should be accurate, relevant and add value to the encyclopedia. In this instance, the user was adding some dubious images across many languages and including a credit to themselves in the caption each time.

Sport is extremely important to Australians, for example, we have four different football codes that survive as professional leagues - I don't think there is another spot on Earth where that happens. Hi Bayo, thank you very much for fixing the map in subject: I have appreciated your prompt intervention very much. The very same problem affects multiple maps of France (for example: all the maps representing the French Departements) and these are being increasingly spread around in other Wikipedias, either by transferring through Commons, or by copying them directly from the French Wikipedia. Albeit we can be quite sure that most Europeans would be not very easily mislead by these maps - which could be inappuntable if they simply carried a separation line to indicate that Corsica was removed from its real place for graphical purposes (in order to reduce the whole space needed to represent the whole Metropolitan area of France) - I am afraid that the same can be not said for the great majority of potential Wikipedia users, which would be from non-Europeans countries. Therefore, although involuntarily, we wikipedians are not best serving and actually misleading them about French - and European - geographic reality. This is why I am particularly grateful about your prompt reply. I would be even more grateful in the case you would be so kind to take care of spreading my message through the French Wikipedia, which apparently is the most important source for these misleading maps. I have already made several attempts to raise the problem, but so far no one seemed to care about it, before you did. One last thing, if I can: I noticed that you were forced to increase substantially your image in order to add the separation line; once again I respectfully invite you to give a further look at the image I fixed in Commons (by adding the separation line without shifting Corsica from the original):
